WHAT IS A CUSTOM FABRICATOR? A custom fabricator creates a professional template of your kitchen countertop, cuts and transforms the granite into your countertop and installs your granite countertop. WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED? We have two convenient locations in Blue Ash/Cincinnati and Dayton:
WHAT IS THE PRICE OF MY GRANITE? We have pricing categories for Granite. Our categories are A, B, C, D, E, F & Exotic. We will provide you with a free quote that outlines the price differences between the groups. HOW DO I PICK THE RIGHT GRANITE FOR ME? We have a wonderful and experienced sales staff that will walk you through the entire process. We are in partnership with many local material suppliers and will help you pick the right stone for your decor. HOW MANY SLABS DO I NEED? We will be able to determine how many slabs you will need based on your kitchen layout. We will give you this information with your quote. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO GET GRANITE? We can set up a measure or you can supply us with your measurements for your free, non-obligation quote. Once you choose Dark Star to be your fabricator, we need to visually select material and put the material on hold. In order for us to purchase the slabs on your behalf, we need a 50% deposit and complete a customer packet. WHAT HAPPENS NEXT? You will need to purchase your sink and faucet prior to template. Once you receive your sink and faucet, we can schedule the professional template. Our Template Technician will then come to your home and do an exact measure of your countertops. He will remove your existing countertops and measure your base cabinets. He will use your new sink and faucet on hand to incorporate them into the template. Once the measure is complete, our Template Technician will put your countertops back on for use until installation. WHEN WILL MY COUNTERTOPS BE INSTALLED? Typically, the installation of your new Granite countertops will be 2 weeks from the day of the template! HOW DO I CARE FOR MY GRANITE? Dark Star seals your granite prior to installation. The sealant has a duration of one year. We can provide a service to re-seal your granite or you can re-seal the granite yourself! Click this link for more about our Service plan and products.
